With the launch of Grace TV on Shaw Cable, Grace TV became the first fully Christian TV channel to broadcast on Shaw's vast cable network. Stretching from Thunder Bay, Ontario to Victoria, British Columbia, Shaw is the single largest cable provider west of Ontario.
With this vast addition Grace TV now reaches over 50% of the homes in Canada.
Coinciding with the launch of Grace TV on Shaw Cable March 15th, Grace TV and Peter Youngren launched its Canada Grace Tour 2010. Calgary is the fifth stop on this cross Canada tour, and the response thus far has been outstanding.
Each night attendees of the Canada Grace Tour 2010 remark what a miracle Grace TV's launch on Shaw Cable is. Many exclaim they have been believing God for a 24/7 Christian channel to broadcast on Shaw Cable for years. Others have tried, but with little success.
Only God's favor can explain, why now, why us.
The tour continues on to Victoria, Vancouver and Surrey before swinging to the East Coast of Canada for another seven rallies.
Already 450 salvations have been seen in the Canada Grace Tour, and pre-registration for the upcoming meetings point to many more coming to Jesus in each meeting.
